“What can one possibly say about Canine Cabana, except that, without question, it is the best doggie daycare in Los Angeles (and possibly the entire United States). Each time I take Nilla to Canine Cabana, she squirms out of my arms and runs into the store in a frantic search for Lisa while leaving me in the dust. When I turn to leave I always expect some kind of whimper (“Mom, please don’t leave)-but NNNOOO!- all I get is her backside as she races off to play with her friends! When I come to pick her up she doesn’t want to leave, and I literally have to drag her home—where she promptly gets into her bed, exhausted from the day of fun. Besides being the best daycare, Canine Cabana is also a fantastic store! All the food and treats are all natural,
and they are always getting in new products and giving away samples. I can go on and on but honestly, if you haven’t taken your dog to Canine Cabana you really need to check it out! I guess I had a lot to say after all”.

“We discovered Canine Cabana one day while driving by on our way home from dinner. We had taken our Yorkie, G.G., to another local doggie daycare in the past and she didn’t respond very well; in fact, she always ended up getting sick afterward from the anxiety. It had been a few months and we had pretty much given up on doggie daycare, however we really wanted to socialize her. We decided to give this new place a call and see how it went. Much to our surprise, it was a whole new experience for us and our dog! Each time I picked G.G. up I get a full report about her day and they often share video or photos
of her having fun with the other dogs. G.G. and her new brother Bailey, get so excited when we walk through the door now and they come home completely exhausted from playing all day! The staff at Canine Cabana is fabulous with the animals! They are extremely experienced and knowledgeable. They collect a great deal of information to be sure that they provide the best care for each pet. Their love of their work is evident in their enthusiasm. ‘We love Canine Cabana and we know our dog, Emma, loves it too! She goes to daycare every weekday and gets very excited the minute I turn into the parking lot. She runs to the door and dashes up to Lisa and the staff to give them a big hello, then makes it clear she wants to see the other dogs so she can start playing! We often board Emma while we travel, which is wonderful because it’s just one long stay at daycare!! P.S. “Canine Cabana is fantastic. I first boarded my dog here when my husband and I went on our honeymoon, and I swear, my dog was depressed when we came back to pick her up and take her home. Lisa, the owner, is wonderful. While we were away, she e-mailed my mother and best friend videos of my dog, so they could see what a good time she was having. Plus, she knows the dogs, which is really nice. As an example, my husband and I have been taking our dog to the same vet for the 3+ years we've had her, and when we walk into the office, the people act like they've never met us or our dog before in their lives. But, after just one day at doggie day care, Lisa immediately recognized our dog by name the very next time we returned (and our dog was so excited to see her!). SAMANTHA
"Two weeks after we got Samantha, we happened to be at a dog fair and won a silent auction for 20 daycare visits to Canine Cabana. Since we were new dog parents, we didn't really know how daycare fit into the big picture--it just sounded like it could be fun. After a couple visits, however, it was obvious that Samantha loved it: she was not only getting to run around and play all day, but was also making friends (and a couple of boyfriends!). Since then, it's become her second home and you can tell by how excited she is to see Auntie Lisa that she's so happy to be there. When she gets home, she scarfs down her dinner and then collapses for the rest of the night, tired and content. Lisa and the rest of the staff are amazing. HECTOR
For Hector, whose disposition is fragile ( i.e. a bit of a nervous wreck) Canine Cabana has been a godsend. Because the staff are clearly in control and fully understand dog order, he feels totally unthreatened. At the same time, the atmosphere isn't rigid, it's playful and relaxed, with plenty of affection to go around. Most of all, I think the staff has a knack for dealing with each dog's specific character, idiosyncrasies and all. As a result of all this, we feel very comfortable leaving Hector at Canine Cabana for both short and long stays. -Olivia & Jesse

“I was not happy with the treatment Asher and I were both receiving from our previous daycare provider. I had just about had it with people in the service industry, giving horrible customer service. I have been working since I was 14, and I think I know a few things about service. My expectations were high when we went to "interview" with Lisa. Immediately I recognized that she and I both possess this crazy gene. We connect with animals instantly. And I was blown away by her vast knowledge of all things doggie!
She has a wonderful spirit about her. Her heart is full of kindness and love. And she bestows that to all of our babies everyday! She truly is a Mother to Asher. He knows it, she knows it, and I know it!!! Lisa has not only been my baby's caretaker, she has also become a friend too! (tears). Asher is my child. So for me to entrust someone with the most important thing in my life is a huge deal for me. I can't think of another place where he would be more happy or safe!
