DAYCARE...

Dog daycare provides two very vital things to a well-balanced, happy and healthy dog…exercise and socialization. When they don’t get enough exercise or social stimulation with other dogs, the bad habits develop; barking, chewing, aggression, digging, separation anxiety, fear, peeing indoors, and so on…and you’re left wondering “what’s wrong?” These are the only ways our beloved pets have of telling us they’re frustrated, bored, lonely and not getting what they need. Dogs are social animals and need to be part of a pack. Daycare is a fun, healthy and cage-free alternative to your dog spending a lonely day without you and all the while getting their needs met.

Canine Cabana provides a happy, stress-free and healthy daycare experience for fun-loving dogs of all sizes. We are located in a renovated 7,700 sq. ft. warehouse and offer the largest indoor tropical-themed playground in Los Angeles. Our large facility is separated into two dedicated play areas…one for large and/or active dogs, and another for smaller/less active/elderly dogs that want a place to play and not feel overwhelmed. However, we do not discriminate based upon size, so if your little one likes to run with the big pack, rest assured they can because we strictly enforce a “no bully” policy and require that every dog that attends, not matter what size, be friendly and non-aggressive with all types of dogs.

The largest play area is filled with tree stumps to play on, a canoe to jump in and fetch balls out of, palm trees, couches, beds, tunnels to play in, a television to bring a familiar touch of home, as well as plenty of wide open space to run, chase, wrestle and just plain hang out! The small/less active/elderly dog area has a tall fence and is
     
decorated with lots of couches, beds, pint-sized toys and tunnels. Both areas have loads of interactive toys, large sod-boxes for relieving (fresh sod is installed twice each week), 30 ft. tall ceilings and lots of space for romping with their buddies. Our caring staff facilitates the playtime and constantly monitors behavior and body language to ensure that everybody is enjoying good, safe fun. We are ALWAYS on the lookout for your dog’s welfare.
In order to ensure this care-free and happy play experience, all dogs must be spayed/neutered and go through a brief social evaluation. They are screened for non-aggression, temperament and vaccinations. The interview process involves a questionnaire regarding your dogs’ play preferences, possible anxiety triggers, medical conditions, their favorite place to get a good scratch and more. Once we get to know your best friend through your words, we’ll move on to a temperament evaluation and get them comfortable with the space, our caregivers and all the fun they’re going to have! Keep in mind…YOUR FIRST FULL DAY OF DAYCARE IS FREE!! (A $30 value)
 
Our goal at Canine Cabana is to provide a happy and safe environment where dogs can wrestle, run, play tug-of-war or just hang out and watch the others while receiving lots of tender, loving care by our experienced and dog-loving staff members. Your dog will make new and lasting friendships with the other dogs, and when they are exhausted from hours of playing and running, they can take a nap on one of our numerous couches or beds that provide a touch of home. At the end of the day, you have a worn out and happy dog!

PRICES:
$16 for a half day (any 4-hour increment in the day you choose)
$30 for a full day (up to 12 hours, as we are open M-F 7am-7pm)
$270 for 10-visit Full Day package (save $30 which equals 1 FREE day)
$510 for a 20-visit Full Day package (save $90 which equals 3 FREE days)
$144 for 10-visit Half Day package (save $16 which equals 1 FREE half day)
$272 for 20-visit Half Day package (save $48 which equals 3 FREE half days)
*(there are no time limits for using packages…take as long as you like)

SHOT REQUIREMENTS:
Rabies (yearly or 3-year vaccination), DHPP (yearly or 3-year vaccination) and Bordatella (MUST be done every 6 months).

DAYCARE TIPS

  • Please make sure to walk your dog in the morning before bringing them to daycare so that they can do their “business” before being dropped off.
  • Bring any medicines and we will dispense them according to your instructions.
  • Once your dog is registered with us, there is no need to make reservations for daycare…just walk in the door and drop your dog off for a day of fun!
  • Please make sure to be on-time to pick up your dog at the end of the day. We close promptly at 7pm for the night (5pm on Saturdays).
